Jean Marc s Chocolate Brownies

150g butter
60g flour
3 eggs
1 tsp salt 
1 vanilla sugar
1 tbsp of walnuts

Melt the chocolate with the butter in a pot. Meanwhile, in a bowl mix the eggs, the sugar, the flour, the vanilla and the salt. Add the melted chocolate-butter to the mix and stir again. Add the chopped walnuts.  Bake in a preheated oven on 180 C for 15 mins.

According to the biologist you should follow the recipe and the doses strictly…!!!

STUFFED PEPPERS from Euskadi, by Ander

  • 1kg of minced meat
  • 1 big aubergine
  • 1 big zucchini
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • grind cheese
  • ingredients for a bechamel
  • tomato sauce
  •  oregano, salt and pepper
  •  a cinnamon stick

The stuffing: 
Chop a pepper, the garlic, the onion, the aubergine and the zucchini. Saute all of them together in a pot and until they get quite soft. Add the minced meat and the tomato sauce and cook for approximately 30 mins. The last 10 mins add salt, pepper, oregano and the cinnamon stick.

Make the  bechamel

The Peppers: 
Clean the peppers and take the top out. Put them on a tray and leave them in the oven for approx. 15 mins on 150C. Afterwards, take them out, staff them with the mixture of the vegetables with the sauce. Leave some space on the top to cover the stuffed peppers with bechamel and some grind cheese . Cook in the oven on 180C for about 30 mins more.

BECHAMEL taught by a pure Italian, by Pietro

  • 5 tablespoons of  butter ( about 1/2 stick)
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • salt, pepper
  • a slightly bit of grated nutmeg

In a saucepan,melt the butter on low heat. As soon as it melts,add the flour and stir with a wooden spoon until there are no lumps,and increase the heat to medium-low. Add the milk slowly, stirring constantly with a whisk,and continue stirring until the sauce begins to thicken-creamy without being too thick.Remove from the heat and stir in salt,pepper,and nutmeg. 

Eleni’s CHEESECAKE

I made this CHEESECAKE  for the first time on my name-day at 2011… every since it has become a legend! It is the easiest recipe you can possibly imagine, however everyone loves it and goes crazy about it.

You will need:

  • 1 pack of digestive cookies
  • 200gr butter
  • 400gr philadelphia cheese (preferably not light because it not as solid)
  • 100gr creme fraiche
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 1vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 whole jar of strawberry marmalade

Preparation:

-Melt the butter
-Crumble the digestive cookies in a blender or in a bag hitting them against the wall
-In a mixing bowl beat the philadelphia cheese, the creme fraiche, the sugar, the vanilla and the milk until the mixture becomes fluffy.- Combine the digestive cookie crumbs and the melted butter, press into a pie plate to form a crust on the bottom and the sides.
-cool and refrigerate for 3h minimum
-Spread the strawberry marmalade on top

Irene’s alteration: 
Instead of digestive cookies use OREOcookies and follow the same steps (the oreo white cream can go in the mixture or just eat it while your are cooking)
